Student Registration

To register, you will create a NHD-CA student online account.
This account will allow you to:

• • Complete registration & payment
  • Upload your project paperwork & Links
  • Download judge sheets (after the contest)

Before you begin - Please Note:

• To create your account you will need an active email address.
  • You will need to access this email to click on a verification link we send.
  • We do not recommend using a school email address as these often have restrictions from outside agencies.
• A parent/guardian must complete parts of the registration.
• You will need to know the name of your school, school district, and which county your school is in.
  • Private Schools will select the district their private school resides in.
• Registration Payment:  
  • • You will not be able to complete this step until your teacher completes their registration and indicates who is paying for you, student or school.

​Cost:  $110 per/student

Students MUST complete registration & payment before the March 26th Deadline or there will be an additional $25 late fee.

Parent/Guardian Registration: An optional registration package that includes a 55-page printed Event Program and 2 proud supporter buttons can be purchased. If interested, you will be able to add this to your cart when you check out. Cost is $25. Note: Parent/Guardian registration is not required to attend.

​Note for Groups: All members of a group must register and pay, but it is not required for all members to be present at the competition. At least one member must be present for the interview.

Refund/Cancellation:  No refunds will be issued after April 1st.
